The most notable change is the simplification of Orient Star’s power reserve indicator: the previous combination of three-dimensional scale parts and printed numerals has been replaced with printed details alone, bringing a seamless sense of consistency to the dial. The indices have evolved from rounded to a sharp, edgy shape that emphasises the watch’s modern style.
New distinctive features can also be found in the dial’s finishing and colours. A sandblast pattern on the surface of the dials create a rough texture, finished with a clear coating to accentuate the exquisite contrast of the two effects.
